named after the street number of the brewery, westend 107 has a lot more going for it than their draught, but not by much i tell you.
just another poor attempt to put a spin on the usual boring aussie lager style, it looks like any other. another pilsener that claims the use of saaz hops, but unlike say, tooheys pils, there is actually a trace of detectable saaz in there. ill give em a marginally better score for that. you can smell it and even taste it! alas the beer behind it tastes alot like dishwater. negligible presence of any malt, a little bit of rice there, but basically tasted like theyd gone a bit crazy on the cane sugar. surprisingly the little bit of hops i could get a hold of here totally saved this beer from total ignominity.
try 107 only if you want to see whether there are actually saaz you can detect in there as a drinking game. apart from that, you can get a six of pilsener urquells for about the same price. what more needs saying?

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
