This one wont set the world on fire, but for an Australian "premium" lager it wasn't too bad.
Light golden colour with a tight white head that faded fast and no lacing (could have been my glass)
On the nose it is sweet and grainy with a little touch of toffee and toast and a light floral and slightly resinous hop note (pretty low intensity)
Medium bodied, sweetish and quite malty. There is another flavour that I cant identify (not an unpleasant one) that I am going to call hops. The bitterness is almost exactly balanced.
It finishes quite dry and smooth with only the faintest of sweet aftertase. Could be a bit cleaner, left a bit of a coated feeling on my tounge.
On the whole, I quite liked it and if this was the going beer, I wouldn't complain too loudly. I certainly prefer this over other "premium" lagers from major Aussie breweries

A ho hum sort of offering from a brewer with some pretension
Nice colour with a faint reddish tinge. No head or bead that persists
A dull malt driven watery beer having no particular character ,no depth and no hops discerible on the nose or the palate.
A hot day gimmee a cold beer sort of drink.
Probably what yuppee Port Adelaide supporters drink.

Smells like any other crappy Aussie lager, sweetish start, quite a creamy texture, slightly bitter finish, but theres way too much of a chemically flavour in the finish, not so good on the end.
