This is the winning beer from the 2012 Spring House home brew contest. Jake Hodge and Jim Keck got the chance to brew their Russian imperial stout aged on oak and whiskey with the crew at Spring House Brewing Co. The resulting colaboration is a classic and delicious RIS.

Drank this at the taproom, 11/1/12. This predates Blood Lust, and may indeed be the recipe they ended up using.
