A: Pours as light golden color, not very cloudy. Not much of a head on the beer, it dissipated quickly and didn't leave much lace on the glass. This is likely because the beer was canned on 9/20/6 and im drinking it 10/25/16
S: Smells highly or orange, with undertones of lemon and something I cant quite place my finger on.
T: after drinking the beer and thinking about how it tasted for a while I noticed a lingering bitterness. The beer has a lot of juicy orange flavor upfront that quickly transforms into a bitter finish.
F: Smooth and refreshing and crisp. Had a nice level of carbonation.
O: Overall I think this beer is well worth trying if you ever have the chance, the citrus flavors will make it enjoyable to most consumers while the hoppy wheat taste that come at the end of the beer may interest others.

pours a hazy deep orange. A fingers worth of head and plenty of lacing
The smell is mostly orange
The taste is predominately orange with rindy bitterness and some herbal hints.
The mouthfeel is clean. Doesn't linger much.
Overall this is a very good ipa. A little more botr than many of the hazy juice bombs.

Pounder can into a pint glass appears a hazy golden orange color with a white cap that fades leaving spotty lace.
Aroma displays some pleasant citrus that is very orange-forward. Slight herbal pithy pulp character backs it up with slight vegetal and yeasty note.
Taste is orange heavy with quite a nice juiciness about it that transitions to lingering pithy/rindy bitterness. Interesting how it is fruity sweet upfront that dries out towards the finish.
Medium in body with modest carbonation. A pretty decent fruited IPA that I think is executed a bit better than the last grapefruit release.

My thanks go out to SummerDave for dropping one of these CANs off for me. I was not quick enough to get the add, but the approved pic is all my doing. I was at the Hazel Street brewery last Saturday with my maternal uncle, following a recycling run down the street. One of the side benefits of The CANQuest (tm) is that the aluminum cylinders that do not go to Jeff Lebo get crushed & recycled, especially the ones that I collect on my walks.
I was anxious to Crack! this open & get started. I wanted to be cautious, though, since Grapefruit Joop IPA was made with actual pulp & there was a big clot of it in the punt which I was able to decant. My gentle Glug seemed successful, but it required an in-glass swirl to raise a finger of dense, foamy, orangish-tawny head with good retention. The swirl also caused my kitchen to smell pleasantly of oranges! Mmmm. Color was a lightly-hazy Amber (SRM = > 7, < 9), although it was clearer at that point, about 5" in, than it had been initially. Leaning in, the nose was very citrusy, with lemon & orange as the main culprits, along with a slight cattiness, proving that they had not skimped on the hops. Mouthfeel was medium. The taste was actually quite mellow and even tea-like! I was reminded of Orange Pekoe with its orange-forward flavor, acCANponied by a slight pepperiness and the cattiness of the Simcoe. I wish that I had wrapped up with this one last night, but the Pirates game was on a rain delay & I gave up, only to awaken several hours later. I kid you not, this is a VERY mellow beer that could act as a pleasant, mellow nightcap. Finish was dry with a light bitterness and a huge, mainly orange, citrusiness that lingered well past the swallow.
