Golden orange in color. Somewhat hazy in appearance. Orange, Orange rind, grapefruit pith and melon. A bit floral. Fairly dry finish. Balanced overall. Not too bitter or sweet. Solid brew.

Thanks Kirb for gifting me with a can of this. Pounder poured into a springhouse teku appears hazy pale golden yellow with a white cap - slightly yellowish stained that fades leaving spotty lace.
Aroma is pretty bold with pineapple on the onset that fades quick to lemon zest, herbs and almost a minty aspect.
Tastes zesty with bitter pith, pulp and slight orange juice before dry grain and grassy finish.
Light in body with modest carbonation. Not bad, not great.

No reviews & two ratings. Hmm. In the interim, big ups and major props to Summer Dave for his gift of this CAN and to tone77 for reminding me that today (01 Febrewary 2017 & annually) is Hula in the Coola Day in which those of us in the colder climes are encouraged to don Hawai'ian gear and drink something from the coola to help wash away the chilling effects of winter. I celebrated with my students every year as a high school English teacher at my alma mater, but since retiring, I have fallen out of the habit.
I am so relieved to be CANducting a Crack! & inverted Glug after all of those bottles! I am far from finished with the eradication of the Bottle Backlog here at Chez Woody, but I will take any excuse to even temporarily resume The CANQuest (tm). My initial, inverted Glug came rushing up so quickly that I had to employ my cat-like reflexes to avert a disastrous spill-over. Upon settling, I was left with two fingers of dense, rocky, eggshell-white head with great retention. Color was a hazy Golden-Amber (SRM = > 5, < 7) and so The Gelt Gang took a pass, preferring 24-carat clarity. Nose was riotous with fruit, everything from mango, papaya, pineapple & guava to grapefruit and orange/tangerine as well as some pine notes just to keep me on my toes. Did they stuff Carmen Miranda into the kettle? Mouthfeel was medium-to-full, not quite creamy, but close. The taste was still fruity, but now, blueberry was leading the way, accompanied by a breadiness that put me in mind of a liquefied blueberry muffin. OMFG! CAN I marry this beer? I want to have it as mine forever more. Finish was semi-dry with just enough sweet fruit flavors to keep it from being outright dry, IMHO.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
