750ml corked and caged bottle into a snifter appears a hazy golden yellow with a white cap.
The aroma is fruity and lemony lactic. Pretty basic but clean and enjoyable.
The taste is tart and fruity with a buttery feel and light grain essence to the finish. Taste isnt terrible but isnt as good as the nose leads on. Could really do without the buttery flavor to make this more enjoyable.
This is medium to lighter in body and way over-carbonated. This was chilled way down and gushed. Not that great but none of the Springhouse sours/wilds to date have been. Of all that I tried, this one was the most palatable.

Bottle from the brewery.
Out of the fridge, big pop of the cork. Poured a full glass of foam, which continued to rise and overflow from the glass minutes after pouring. I poured the rest into a decanter, but it still took a long time to get a manageable/drinkable glass. Kind of shocking that such an active beer didn't gush from the bottle. Pale green-yellow color, cloudy, thick head never went away. Sweet kiwi flesh in the aroma, bready grains. Same in the taste, sweet kiwi, grains, dry oak, very mild sourness, mostly just fruity. There was also something soapy in there that kind of ruined it for me. Overall this one was a pass for me, which is a shame since all the other SKULL bottles this round have been great.

Pours with a lively carbonation. Slight forest green/straw color. Tons of fruit, kiwi & peach in the nose. Flavor is fruit forward without being too sweet, oaky with a mild sourness. Very easy drinking. While not very sour this is a very well done, multifaceted beer.
