A thanks to the captain of the canquest, woodychandler, for this beer. Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a dark golden color with a 1 inch head. Smell is dominated by grapefruit. Taste is grapefruit, pineapple, very light malts, considerably bitter. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall it satisfied my need for hops.

I am back on The CANQuest (tm) at least briefly as I have a number of CANs that recently got dropped off here at Chez Woody by various people. Once I get them out of the way, I will resume The Eradication of The Bottle Backlog, but for the time being, CANs are once again king!
Ah, the Crack! Music to my ears, but I followed it up with a gentle Glug as it was a pounder (16-fl. oz.) CAN & I did not want to have to clean up a mess if things got out of CANtrol. It was certainly nicely carbonated as it produced two fingers of soapy, foamy, bone-white head of its own accord, but it quickly wilted in the heat & humidity of the day. Color was a bright Yellow-Gold, like liquid sunshine in my glass, prompting a visit from The Gelt Gang of Croesus, Mammon & Midas. Nose was redolent with grapefruit citrus-like aromas & my hophead mouth set to watering. Mouthfeel was medium. The taste was very citrusy and bitter, very much of grapefruit, including pith & rind, but with a light biscuity maltiness. It was on the upper end of being close to saturated with hops without going over. I would caution that unless you really like bitter AIPAs that this might not be your bag. I was fine with it since it really awoke my taste buds gave them some exercise. Finish was very dry, as you might expect. The biscuity maltiness noted earlier not only helped to soften the rough edges of the bitterness, but it also CANtributed to the dryness of the beer. Phew! I may need some agua after this.

Draft offering at the Hazel St location served in a cervoise. The brew appears a hazy golden yelliw with a white head that fades leaving a curtain of lace.
Initially the aroma is wowing with citrus to herbal hop character than straw to grassiness sets in.
The taste is bitter and herbal to somewhat grassy feeling. It fills the bill per IPA standards of bitterness but becomes taxing about halfway through the glass.
This is light in body with modest carbonation. For what it is, its not bad. I have to commend them for making a pretty decent hoppy beverage without needing the crutch of fruit/adjuncts here. Regardless, this was still a one and done for me, dont feel like I gotta have it again.
