750ml bottle split with some friends and poured into a couple snifters. The brew appears black in color with a khaki head that fades leaving spotty lace.

Nose has a pleasant amount of maple then bourbon, citrus, booze and oak.

It tastes oaked and boozy with a hint of coconut, maple, vanilla and a citrus component.

This is medium in body with ample carbonation. Quite a booze forward sipper with noticeable barrel inclusion. 5-6oz was more than enough for me, not a bad brew just not something I want a whole glass of either. It would be interesting if this brewery would crank out some stouts at half the abv they usually release these at.
