2018. Over carbonated on the pour. Flavor is alcohol burn then dry cork. Mouthfeel is thin once carbonation settles. Too bad

750ml corked and caged bottle poured into a pair of tulips. The brew is cola to black in color with khaki head that fades leaving spotty lace.
The aroma is raisony with oak, slightly vinous and leathery across the back.
This also tastes raisony and vinous with oak, earthy molasses and a spiced aspect almost like cedar across the finish.
This is medium in body with light carbonation. A pretty unique brew that was not at all what I was anticipating but Springhouse brews rarely are. Not that good of a barleywine but it wasnt infected at least, so it has that going for it....
