whatever batch I had was waay waaay over carbonated and foamy (maybe expired?) to the point where I had to scoop the foam of the top to drink it. the actual color though is a lovely hazy amber. the smell is lightly fruity and tart. the taste was not too bad, the tart cherry flavor definitely center stage.
it tastes almost like a fruited sour, which surprised me. the hops listed on the can are amarillo, simcoe, and citra. besides the cherry flavor, the citra and amarillo dominates the hop profile with the simcoe coming in at the aftertaste.

Not a bad beer definitely more of a favored IPA rather than a sour which is as described but I do wish the cherry flavor was a bit more dominant but it is rather smooth. Decent novelty beer though love the effort I do buy any beers with cherry in them at least its not medicinal or candy flavored.

A pint can poured into a clear glass liter mug produces a pinkish deep orange colored liquid with plenty of carbonation, an off-pink head and a little glass lacing. It smells strongly of some kind of fruit candy. It tastes better than it looks and smells, mainly because it's tart and not overly sweet. What could have turned out to be a disaster isn't so bad at all. It goes down very smoothly and a lingering bitter hop aftertaste is a great way for it to finish. A novelty beer, sure, but one every now and then would make a refreshing change of taste.
