A growler shared by Ffej and filled by FooFaa. Thank you both!
A - Pours with a slightly hazy, copper tinted body...a two finger head formed and slowly receded...nice lacing was left behind
S - The hops are very herbal and earthy...there is a toasted grain presence that is included in the aroma
T - Again, the hops prove to have a herbal flavor to them...at first they become almost medicinal, but later give way to an earthy flavor which is more palatable...the earthy hops team up with the toasted grain and provide a good middle to the beer...some yeast creeps its way in, but is then washed out by the earthy hops towards the finish
M - Medium bodied...carbonated nicely, the earthiness pairs well with the graininess
O - This version show cased Nelson Sauvin hops...it was my first experience with them...not bad, earthy and herbal in flavor...there was just something missing in this one

Draft offering at the Taproom by Spring house. The brew appears a hazed copper color with a white cap supported by rising bubbles of carbonation. A pleasant looking brew with slightly less than expected cap formation but a light swirl revives.
The smell is pleasant but mild with hops. An essence of pulp and rinds emits from the glass smelling like mildly reminescent of grapefruit with some grass and herbal components.
The taste also includes that of grapefruit rind with some pulpy/rindy/zesty bitterness that is a bit on the herbal side collectively. A mild toasty grain aspect emerges as the brew warms up.
This is a medium bodied brew with a modest amount of carbonation. Nicely drinkable and overall without fault. It has a snap to it's finish and seemingly no yeast inclusion that presents this very clean. I would drink this again.
