Served on-tap in a Shaker pint at South Street Brewery (Charlottesville, VA).
A: Clear light amber with 1-finger off-white head with decent retention and a few stripes of lacing.
S: Resiney pine with grapefruit and a light green grape hoppy aroma with crackery pale maltiness. No yeast or alcohol character.
T: Flavor is a little one-dimensional compared to the nose with mostly pine and light orange and grapefruit citrus layered on a light crackery but thin malt component. Not sweet but finishes a little husky/tannin vegetal. No yeast or alcohol notes. Bitterness is medium.
M: Light-bodied and easy to drink with medium carbonation. Crisp and dry finish.
O: Not a bad effort but a bit pedestrian. I didn't order a second.
