L: Had this beer on-tap at South Street Brewery, poured into a pint glass. Had a rich amber color and a somewhat hazy consistency. There was a thin, off white, foamy head that lasted an average amount of time. Not a whole lot of lacing.
S: A decent, but not spectacular, aroma of honey, malt, booze, and caramel.
T: Tasted of a fair shot of malt (present throughout), a whole lot of honey, some booze (not a huge problem), a bit of caramel, and some dark fruit (plums, raisins). An interesting flavor that's almost a bit one note; the honey does take control of the flavor. Nevertheless, it's not a bad taste.
F: An average amount of carbonation with a warm, slick finish. Medium- to full-bodied.
O: While this is an uneven beer, it does work in its own way. Worth a look.
