On tap at South Street. Served in a traditional American pint glass.

Appearance: A dark, dark hazy brown with a one-finger tan head, muddy almost, head has average retention, sheen of tan foamy. Nice stick and splatter.

Aroma: Smells like burnt rubber, smoky, dark wheat, faint banana. Grassy coffee. Weird, and unpleasant.

Taste: Ugh. Salty beef jerky, watery, only the faintest "actual" dunkel notes, faint banana, watered down chocolate milk, like ovaltine. Very nondescript and simple.

Mouthfeel: Very watery, but even, stagnant. 2.5

Drinkability: I found this beer very, very unpleasant. It was watery, shallow, simple, strange tasting, and just ... not that good. And while no South Street beer is out of this world, they're all at least decent. Except for this one. A shame.

Served on-tap in a clear pint glass

A: Looks like Yoohoo with grey-brown color and no head

S: Minimal malt presence and not much else. I smell more glass than beer here.

T: Nondescript mild malt flavor with a little sweetness but not much else.

M: Very little carbonation but pretty smooth. Not much aftertaste because there's not much flavor in the first place.

D: One of these is enough -- there is not much to recommend it.
