A tad darker than most Hell-bocks, it was a hearty copper color. A lovely, creamy head left some nice lace-work! Malt aromas came through, but not quite pronounced enough for me. Good body, and creamy-smooth on the tongue. Some slightly sweet, biscuity malt starts things (though not enough!), followed by a decent hop-presence, with a smidgen of bitterness (which recedes quickly with warming). Nice job!
