Reviewed from notes.

Pours a golden straw color with a nice white head and a good deal of lacing. The nose brings some nice floral and herbal Noble hops and a bit of grain. The taste is a bit lighter overall but still brings some really nice hop flavors with a bit of light grain. Nice, crisp body with great carbonation. This is a really nice brew and probably the best I had here.

A: Golden straw pour, not really any head at all. Almost yellow.

S: Clean, modest hops, grassy and earthy. Kinda fruity? Apricot?

T: Grassy, noble hops? Quite full flavoured for the style. Very nice.

M: Crisp, clean. A zip of carbonation, and an easy drinker - as they often are. Decent session beer.

part of sampler tray at the brewpub. Served as light amber color with slight white head. Smell is nice and hoppy. Taste is only lightly crips, usually less than I taste with this style of beer, but still enjoyable. Strong dry bitter aftertaste that was really nice, Good beer.

wonderful saaz hop aroma and taste up-front with a nice balance of malt to follow-up and make this an extremely well-balnaced and enjoyable beer. Took me back to my travels around Germany sampling many of the fine pilsners available at almost every gasthaus and bierstube. I highly recommend this brew!

Clear golden straw color with a slightly thin head but a strong clinging lace all the way down the glass. Very spicy nose with tons of Saaz hops in it. The first taste of the brew has a decent malt sweetness to it but that is quickly overcome by the incredible spiciness imparted but the 2 pounds of Saaz that they put in per barrel of this stuff. Great refreshingly crisp brew that is a great thirst quencher on a day when the heat index was about 105. The day that I was at the brewpub was the first day of a fresh batch of this brew. Absolutely wonderful. After a slow start to pilsners I am really coming around to the style.
