Served a crystal clear bright straw color with a nice creamy white head on top that rings the glass rather nicely. Nice husky graininess with a great noble hop backdrop to it that doesn't overpower. The brew starts with a fair amount of sweet maltiness. The flavor, however, quickly turns very crisp with a nice lingering noble hop finish that adds a subtle spiciness to the brew. Excellently true to the style, this bier is nicely crisp with some almost dry qualities to it. This would make an excellent hot weather bier as it was awesomely drinkable when I was drinking it and I was neither parched nor hot.
