Tasted by a half-pint at the Evening Star, Brighton.
A: pours a very clear amber hue with a thin head and low carbonation.
S: sour-sweet, pear-ish fruitiness dominates the nose, without a clear form and rather one dimensional. Not on form, otherwise it was born to be this boring...
T: pear-juice-like tart fruitiness added with caramel malts; hoppiness abounds at the back, with quite a good amount of dryness and a light spiciness to follow, but not deep enough.
M&D: very soft in carbonation, light-bodied, but the flavour shows too much impacts of the pear-ish sourness. It could've been better when served fresher, I take it.
