Terrible representation of the style. More like a shandy.

Reviewed from notes. Served at the brewery/restaurant in a tall pilsner glass on 4/15/17.
A: Hazy to turbid orangish gold. Low amount of visible carbonation, and a two-finger white head that fades fairly quickly.
S: Sweet citrus over wheat biscuit malts. Some banana and lesser pear yeast esters, with mild notes of bubblegum.
T: A fruity mishmash - tangerines, apples, bananas, and bubblegum. A mild citrus rind bitterness. Yeast, and biscuit malts. Then some more fruity esters and a slick citrus sweetness towards the end.
M: Average heft to the body. Low alcohol presence and fairly low carbonation sensation.
O: Not a bad beer. The citrus addition hides the traditional hefeweizen character to a point. I wouldn't go out of my way for a second pour or anything. But if a fruity hefeweizen sounds good - this isn't a bad option.
