Poured a brown body with no head or lace. Has a straight-up vinous and French oak/wood aroma but wouldn't say the aroma is "wine". Rather thick-bodied, almost sticky, tastes like a French liqueur with a moderately hidden ABV, a woody smoothness, a dark fruit (at least grape and figs) sweetness and is rather easy to drink considering the ABV.

Enjoyed this beer on tap out of a goblet glass.
A: Pours a copper hue with a large white head that quickly dissipates leaving a solid persistent lace.
S: Aromas of fruits and high alcohol.
T: Similar to the aroma this beer had lots of gruit flavors and was very boozy.
M: Heavy body and medium carbonation.
O: Smooth - and to quote my wife "It sort of melts in your mouth like velvet". I find it hard to believe this beer was 22% ABV because it was very easily drinkable.

Poured a hazy ruby color. Decent white heading that didn't stick around very long after the pour. Deep tobacco, burnt leaf, and a touch of oak with a heavy linger. Decent smokey finish. Very easy drinking at 22% It is actually hard to believe it was that high in alcohol and still flavorful.
