The brew pours with a rustic and murky appearance, capped with a smattering of soapy bubbles. The nose has some dark- and orchard-fruity notes, as well as offering a caramel-ish sweetness reminiscent of unhopped wort. The flavor adds a bit of vinous and boozy complexity, with heavy jammy notes of fig and raisin; the brew is a bit hot, but at 12%, that is not surprising. The heat takes down the feel a bit, but overall I enjoyed the brew, and am very excited to see the range of styles being brewed here.
