Not sure if they are no longer brewing beer. They got a big ($$$)contract to brew their root beer and gave up beer. Golden Color. Medium Head. Aroma is fruity and sweet. A Mild Ale, lightly hopped, but does have a bit of a bite to it. More hop taste in aftertaste. Mild taste, but a nice beer.

Presentation: 12 oz brown bottle with no freshness date.
Appearance: Slightly hazy blonde gold in colour with a thin yet bubbly white lace adorns the top.
Smell: Fragrant nose of malt sweetness and mild citrius ... hint of yeast in the back.
Taste: Moderately medium in body with a crisp and smooth mouth feel, a little on the raw side though without the coarseness. Touch of malt sweetness is cut by some citric hops that linger throughout the mouth. As the malt sweetness faded some fruity esters and grain take over and add to the complexity of this lighter style brew with finesse. Front to back is also an earthy flavour that seems to be a mixture of the hops, grain and yeast.
Notes: Obvious american hop character with a nice balance of malt and fruitiness. On target for an American Golden Ale.
