Growler, even though I found it later it was on nitro, from Selin's Grove Brewing Company in Selinsgrove, PA.
Pours a dark silky dark brown, with black tints, and no head, or no lacing. It is a nitro growler after all.
Smells like milk chocolate, smoke, dark fruit, and piney hops.
Though the mouthfeel was a little flat, unsurprisingly, this had some really nice little twists and complexities. Some dark fruits, raisin and cherry, light whisp of smoke, chocolate syrup, burnt coffee grounds, and piney hops. Really nice flavors for a lower ABV stout here.
This is medium bodied, with a flat and only slightly carbonated mouthfeel. It's super creamy.
I feel like I shouldn't have been able to get a growler of this, but whatever, it was really tasty anyway.

Served on nitro pour at the brewpub. Pitch black with a decent head that persists. The flavor is dark and roasty, similar to Guinness Foreign Extra and hides the alcohol well. Silky smooth mouthfeel, even better than most nitro pours I've had.

On the hand pump. Another outstanding offering of a spot on traditional brew.

Surprised to find this new offering on hand-pump when I arrived friday. Not much details yet about this one but looks like its a preview of a new beer to becreleased shortly. Even though its served from cask, the look is very much nitro. A rich, silky cream head persists unlike any cask pour ive seen. The brew is black in color resting underneath.
The nose has some citrus hops with a roast and mild mineral feel. Slight fruity inclusion blends to something more reminescent of milk chocolate as the brew warms up.
The taste is bitter roast with some fruity raisony alcohol noted. Somewhat of a bitter chocolate to coffee-feeling profile as it warms up. This brew maintains a unique balance of fresh hopping, roasty grain and alcohol...I dig it.
This is medium to almost full bodied. A very creamy smooth feel provides exceptional drinkability. A stronger feelin stout that is a welcomed addition to the SGB profile. I hope to enjoy more of this in the future.
