Draft offering at the pub served in a goblet. The brew appears brown in color with a khaki head thats quick to fade.

Smells acedic with dark fruity quality and bready to chocolate grain. A little earthy and overall mild in its aromatics.

Taste is tart, almost lemony with apple/pear and a bready grain sweetness thats mildly musty and earthy with a hint of chocolate and mild bitterness.

This is medium in body with a light amount of carbonation. Very mild in the sourness, more tart actually than sour with interesting mix of flavor. SGB has made some wickedly sour/acedic barrel aged beer in limited quantity in the past and while familiar feeling, this seems much more mild/watered down. Still a good brew though.
