Too sweet and boozy. The description at the brewpub said they were serving this keg fresh and aging a few more - I can't imagine this getting any better with age. The hops which were present were fine but after aging a while? No thanks.

Draft offering at the source served in a large snifter. It appears a clear copper color with a white cap that fades leaving soapy lace.
The nose on this is bright with hops - herbal and citrus give way to earthy pine and some fruity alcohol.
The taste is bitter and resinous with a lasting herbal feel thats slightly catty and pine-like with pulp/pith of grapefruit.
This is medium in body with light carbonation. A fantastic way to celebrate 20 years - I hope to see more DIPAs appear in the coming years.
