I have no clue how I haven't reviewed this one yet. Oh well, severed on-tap at the Brewpub.
A - Pours hazy golden yellow with a nice one finger tall white head leaving spotty strings of lace down most of the glass.
S - Smells of bready wheat, fresh zested citric rind, dash of spicy yeast and some clove with a tiny bit of bubblegum coming through at the very end.
T - Starts off with the typical chewy wheat character that binds the entire beer together. Hints of spicy yeast, bubblegum, clove, orange and lemon peel and some light residual sweetness help break up the wheat. Finish is chewy, combining with some spice/sweetness to linger on the palate for a short period of time after consumption.
M - Medium-Light body with moderate carbonation. Fresh, chewy feel with some nice spice/light sweetness in each sip.
O - I usually don't like this style but this is a pretty solid Wit. It has everything I would look for in the style and it is very easy to consume. Perfect beer for the lighter drinker.

a: This was a slightly hazy pale straw color. It poured with a short lived, big bubbled head.
s: Belgian yeast, plenty of fresh citrus, and light clove.
t: All the usual wit components in pleasing proportions for me (light on the clove). There was something sweet and vaguely fruity in the middle that I couldn't identify. Lots of lightly bitter citrus at the end.
m: Five days after the fill this growler was a bit past its prime. The IPA I had 2 days earlier was in similar condition. They were filled all the way to the cap which is why they didn't hold up for even for a short while. While not flat, this was pretty under carbonated for a wit.
o: A very nice example of the style. Too bad I couldn't try it at its best.

Served on tap at the brewpub. Witbier in October...why the hell not
A- pours a cloudy shade of yellow with a quick fading, one finger white head
S- aroma is mainly of lemons, and I'm getting hints of Belgian yeast as well
T- crisp lemons as well as that sweet Belgian yeast to it...very unique for a witbier to actually taste like a Belgian
M- thin body, as expected
O- I enjoyed it. The yeast makes it a little less drinkable than your typical wit, but it's still a solid beer

On tap at the brewpub on 10/30/10 served in a sort of short thick-stemmed wheat glass.
This brew pours a cloudy cardboard brownish like yellow color with a finger of white head that fades quickly. A few spots of lace cling to the glass. A little darker than any other style of wit I have seen.
The aroma is full of the scent of cloves. Clove smell all over the place with some other spices and the typical belgian yeasty phenols. Some light fruity notes appear as this brew warms.
The taste is again cloves with some belgian yeasty quality and light fruity flavors somewhat reminiscent of lemon. There is some light ester alcohol flavor that warms the back of the throat which is unusual for the style but it is still pleasant. As the brew warms there is a light indication of some banana-like flavor but the clove reigns supreme in this brew.
This is a light to medium bodied offering with a moderate to low level of carbonation. The carbonation was a little lower than expected for the style but it was still acceptable. At times this brew had a bit of a gritty feel, partially due to just the sheer amount of yeast stuck in suspension in this brew. Regardless it was enjoyable and would be even better enjoyed on a hot summer day.

The body is a hazy yellow and the finger of head is bright white. Pretty good retention and some nice tendrils of lacing left behind.
The aroma has some wheat twang, lots of pepper and clove, and some citrus.
This beer is a little bit over-spiced, but overall it is still pretty enjoyable as the flavors balance each other out. Pepper, clove and maybe even a third spice that I cannot identify come through. A hint of lemon and a good bit of orange zest come next. The orange zest on its own is probably the single strongest flavor. The twang from the wheat backbone is just big enough to cut through the spices and be noticed.
Mouthfeel is just a bit creamy with moderate carbonation.
Like I said, this beer may be a little bit over-spiced, but I enjoyed the orange peel and wheat flavors anyway. Not a bad wit.

Growler brought home from the brewery on Friday and consumed today.
The menu was just marked "Wit" but considering "Amazing Wit" is the only one listed on BA as a wit beer offered by Selinsgrove, I assume this is the one I drank and will put my review here.
Appearance: Cloudy pale straw body with a 1 finger white crown that displays good retention and lace.
Smell: Wheat, orange peel, coriander, lemon, clove, and love :)
Taste: Same as nose but not as good. Orange peel runs a bit too dominant for my liking.
Mouthfeel: Light side of medium bodied with decent carbonation.
Drinkability: Quite sessionable although it loses a bit of luster after the 4th pint.
This is one of the best American made Belgian Wit style wheat beers I've tried. Again a bit too much orange peel for me but really well spiced.

On tap @ the brewpub on 7/10/10. Served in a pint glass.
Pours a deep hazy golden orange, with a thin head of fizzy bright-white foam. While pretty flat in the middle, this does maintain some soft richness around the edges of the glass which flares up a bit when swirled and leaves some spotty swathes of foamy lace back. The aroma is floral and quite tart and sweet in the nose from a mix of wheat and fruitier accents. Grapefruit, orange, and lemongrass all shine here, with spicy clove giving this a bit of a peppery zip.
The taste is tangy and crisp on the palate, with bready wheat and zesty notes of orange peel, lemon, and clove all contributing here. Bitterness is mostly lighter feeling, with a balance of earth and citrus rind that lingers into the finish with a spicy dryness. The mouthfeel has a lighter medium bodied presence to it, with a crisp (which works nicely with the spice and zest of this) bubbliness to the carbonation that keeps this very easy in the mouth. Nice overall feel here.
After not being a big fan of their Hefe, they've helped renew my faith in Wheat beers here with this tasty and easy drinking Wit. Crisp, tangy, and thirst-quenching, this is was really enjoyable on a hot July afternoon.

Reviewed on 09/30/2009. On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear light yellow with a white head. Aroma of spices, clove, pepper. Flavor of bland, grainy malt with a hint of spices. It is very light in palate and there is just not much here. I am underwhelmed.

Served on tap at the brewpub.
A: The witbier is a pale hazy golden color, a nice looking wit that is quite radiant when held up to a light. The haze renders the ale opaque. A finger of head lasted for almost 1/2 of the glass.
S: The nose is laiden with wheat and spices. The wheat is light but tart. The spices add sweetness of oranges and pepper.
T: The sweetness of the spices and yeast are evident immediately. Clove, citrus and pepper are prominent with orange and lemon driving the citrus. A low level of carbonation mutes the flavors, allowing each sip to linger for a while. The wheat is mildly tart, powerful enough to be evident through the spices.
M: The mouthfeel is lively, even with the low carbonation. The one-two punch of pepper and citrus, along with the abundant wheat, tastes very nice.
D: Finally! A wheat beer from SGBC that I really enjoyed. I didn't think that such a thing existed. A good witbier.
