Saw this place on ba and stopped by after golfing. The selection is impressive, many choices of NC Brewers as well as many National heavies like Founders, Bells, DFH. The service leaves a lot to be desired. Clerk eyed me like she thought I was there to steal something.

Stopped in to check out the selection. I was very impressed! I saw all sorts of 'A-rated' beers in this place. Saw brews from Stone, Bell's, Natty Greene's, DFH, Victory, Founders, Unibroue, etc. This is the only place in town where you can get this type of selection, and for that, it's worth the stop. I mean, they have Hopslam and Founders Breakfast Stout of all things. The service, on the other hand... I was "hassled" by the old lady working there because I was scanning the beers and not buying any. She asked where I was from, while pointing to my work badge. And not the nice, "hey, where are you from?" [with a smile], no this was the "where are you from and what are you doing in my store?" kind of question. She looked a little peeved as if I was some Federal agent sent there to shut her down. She stared me out to my car, and needless to say, I won't be back anytime soon. I can get most all of these brews in Winston. But for you "strapped for good beer" High Point-ians, this place'll do.

First let me say, High Point has absolutely no good beer stores or selection anywhere. Liberty Steakhouse is a brewpub with the beer getting better, but nowhere to purchase commercial goodies. This is the one place where one can get good beer in High Point.
It is located about 2 or 3 miles north off of I85. Although the selection is wonderful, and it is somewhat limited, it is a beer mecca within about 20 miles.
Selection included all of the Bells offerings, DFH, Brooklyn BCS, with other limited imports and domestics. SErvice was a bit contentious and "up front" but atleast they cared. Best place in HP for quality beer.
