On tap at HopCat.
Pours a very lightly hazy yellowish gold, very thin white head forms, settles down to a thin ring, some lace spots on the glass. Smell is nice, citrus and grapefruit hoppiness, toasty malt, light bit of sweetness, caramel, some floral, nice balanced aroma. Taste is similar, grapefruit and floral, caramel and toast middle, orange, some fruitiness, nicely bitter finish. Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with medium carbonation. A well made and balanced APA.

sampled on tap at hopcat june 13/09.
pours dark gold with just a touch of haze. the small fine white head drops fairly fast and leaves spotty lace behind.
aroma is good. solid american hop base. resiny pine. grapefruit. bit of orange. white bread and cracker. light alcohol. touch of biscuit.
taste is good. just under medium bitterness level. biscuit. multi-grain bread. pine and grapefruit. bit of tangerine. light caramel. light alcohol.
mouthfeel is good. medium body. medium carbonation level.
drinkability is good. nice balance, hiding its alcohol well. pretty solid hop presence - more than most of the APAs/IPAs we have in ontario. very nice.
