On tap at HopCat on December 29, 2010. Served in an imperial pint glass.
Pours a nice yellow color with a half-finger of head and a bit of haze. A thin collar as it falls, though not much in the way of lacing or retention. The nose was pretty mild with some English hops--more toward the floral end of the spectrum with some very mild earthy/herbal notes in there as well. Some mild grain in the background. The taste was along the same lines. A bit too much of a grainy character for me, and the malt component of the beer didn't really add anything else. Hop character was quite restrained, though I liked the mix. Not too much of any bitterness there. Pretty drinkable in the end, though didn't have much that kept me coming back for more.
