a pale ale with honey and sage added. the pale core is decent but the hopping is intermittent with the spicing. a balance is there but the notes don't give the fundamentals any justice. nose is predominately sage. palate is grainy. a bit of corn... and i don't mean adjunct but tortilla on the palate. sage and chamomile. hopping is subdued. for the abv the ibu could be a bit more assertive. either way this a a great food bar fair beer. well peppered fries with aioli.
