Yellow-orange color. White foam, high, characterized by a medium-long reduction time.
The aroma is sweet, spicy and herbal with a hint of orange.
Taste: perfectly balanced malt sweetness and herbal bitterness.
Medium saturation. Smooth texture, medium body up. Short, spicy malt aftertaste.

Birra Baladin "Open White"
33cl brown glass bottle coded "DA CONSUMARI... 07/2020 LOTTO: 073/180-5" on 26 November 2019
€5 @ Il Ducato, La Salumeria Emiliana, Como, IT

Notes: Hazy golden in color beneath a short head of white. Very good head retention but only OK lacing (dirty glass?). Aroma of golden malt, actual yeast, apple, spiciness (coriander?), and some mild Belgian yeast phenols. The yeast found in the aroma remains in the flavor along with the apple, spiciness, and some mild orange. It's nutty, which is probably coming from the yeast as opposed to malts. It's moderately bitter with a mild, short-lingering finish. Medium bodied and crisp then smooth across the palate with a fine-bubbled, natural carbonation.

Great italian beer of a clear golden color with a nice but efervescent whity foam.
The foam has an special and great aroma of Atemoya. I never saw that in a beer and I must say it's really great. When the foam is over, it's possible to feel other fruits like apricot and some citrus, besides the malts.
Taste is more malty and with great yeast tones. Apricot is evident.
Body is surprising - greater than it seems, and carbonation is at great level. At the same time, is a refreshing beer - ABV is low.
The brewery called this a witbier, but it's not made with wheat.. just some cereal syrup.
Yeah, it's a great beer for lovers of fruity ones.
