Dark brown, off-white foam, average.
In the smell malt and caramel in the foreground, with ripe fruit (melon, yellow peach, maybe pear). Some bitterness.
Full and sweet taste, malt sweetness, caramel (too much) and a strong and excessisìve sugary. Then melon and figs in the aftertaste.
Full boied, but not elegant, and too sugary.

Nice belgian style italian beer of a brown/copper color and a small cream foam. Pretty in the glass.
I liked a lot the smell, yeasty and a lot sweet, with notes of honey, maple syrup and caramel.
Taste is more neutral, the sweetness is a bit like sugar (unpleasant).
Some spicy notes in the taste and smell too.
Body is at great level but carbonation and bitterness don't follow, should be better balanced.

Bottle. Different label. Poured a murky, orangey/coppery color. Almost no head. Smell is sweet and yeasty. Spiced with notes of honey. Very bland. The flavor brings forth more blandness. Honey, herbs, spices. Soft yeast flavor. Lacking intensity but I don't think I'd even want the flavor to be more intense. The feel is a bit sticky due to low carbonation and lingering sweetness residue/feel. A random sample that I was not very impressed with.

Poured into La Trappe wide champagne cup.
Appearance: Pours a copper brew with a thin fizzy head that quickly gives in to a thin ring of foam. Very hazy due to yeast in suspension. Non perceived effervescence. No lacing whatsoever.
Smell: Medium strong nose of clove, husks, yeast and spices. Some orange peel layering. Appealing with unexpected complexity.
Taste: Good intensity on the mouth with notes of hops, grass, earthiness and yeast up front. Nice fruit on the back with notes reminescent of orange, peardrop and bubblegum. As it warms up more of the bubblegum seems to come through.
Mouthfeel: Medium light bodied. Medium to medium low bitterness. Medium acidity. Medium low carbonation. Finishes sweet, leaving a lingering bubblegummy/fruity taste. Alcohol never gets in the way.
Drinkability: Surpringly light and drinkable considering the ABV. Has a very interesting balance to it, especially in the fruity / earthy play making for a very interesting take on the Tripel style (Which should be the style listed in my opinion).

Purchased at a cool beer store in Mantua, Italy on or about 6 19 09. Poured into a clean, clear glass in Taoramina, Italy some days later. Review from notes taken when I tasted this beer without the benefit of being online to find out the beer's style. I did not change my comments.
A Copper orange body under a light head, lasts for about 2 minutes. Some sediment floating about.
S Rather strong alcohol smell, malt amber and grains. Interesting.
T Yeasty, malt based beer with an amber slant.
M Syrupy sweet, somewhat sticky and thick.
D Good. I had no problem having about a pint and a half.
Notes: Reminds me of a nice Belgian. Very good!

Lurisia Otto pours a rich, dark amber color with a thick, dense head. The smell is spicy and phenolic, with a little pepper and yeast behind a lot of malt aromas. The taste is big and powerful, with fairly high carbonation and a notable alcohol component. Moderately roasted malts, with lots of melanoidin flavors run through the taste. Moderately sweet in the front, the brew really dries out by the finish, which is quite spicy. This beer is made with Lurisia mineral water.
