Vintage of SUPER.
Amber colored, 8% abv - In this version, the flavors of cinnamon that
immediately emerge in the scent blend with the malty notes of the classic SUPER, creating a subtle
harmony. The cinnamon aroma expands in the mouth and completes the bouquet of tastes by
developing a beautiful balance of ripe and syrupy fruit, dried figs and almonds…

Copenhagen 28/9 2018. 75 cl bottle from Voldby Kømandsgård Webshop. Very brown and Cinnamon infused label with a lot of the Christmas Spice splashed on it.
Pours hazy orange with dense but bubbly, white head. Settles as thin layer of foam barely covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the side of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is sweet and extremely spicy. Caramel, cookies, cinnamon in abundance providing a sour, sharp streak with a sweet undercurrent.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly prickly texture. A little sticky.
Flavor is rather sweet followed by sharp, spicy sourness. Aftertaste is spicy and sourish. Lingering Cinnamon.
I can not say that I was not warned. But they are overdoing the Cinnamon thing in my humble opinion. But then again I really can't taste the alcohol which can be quite prominent in Le Baladins beers.
