Amber colored - A beer with a distinct scent of tropical and citrus fruit
(mango, pineapple, citrus), which comes from the generous use of Mosaic hops that give it its name.
The taste shows great balance between the bitterness and the caramelized notes of barley, which blend with the delicate hints of syrupy fruit and the alcohol, that you will only feel when… you’ve drank the whole bottle!

Copenhagen 16/9 2018. 75 cl bottle from Voldby Købmandsgårds Webshop. Quite a bottle with the logo of Le Baladin printed directly in the glass. Some Hop cones on the label on a woody surface.
Pours hazy orange with big white head. Settles slowly to thin layer of foam barely covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the side of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium malty sweet but dominated by a quite sharp sour odor. Quite boozy and heavy with alcohol for a beer with an ABV of only 8.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, lightly prickly and soft texture.
Flavor has strong sweetness followed by moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is on the sweet side. Quite boozy alcoholic burn.
A quite malty experience for a beer named after a Hop Variety. More sour than bitter and quite boozy on top of it.
