Enjoyed on tap at the brewpub, this style is a staple of the Province. Sourish-like yeasty is how I perceivedthe taste. The aroma is merely mly but it is complex. Very thick white lacey on dark golden body.Room for improvement.Avoidable part of their product line.

On tap directly at Siboire microbrewery,
20 oz glass
A- Nice red with some hints of brown around the edges, transparent, good lacing as well, a finger of red tainted head
S- Warm vinous from malt, but sweetness is taking control, the roast is subtle but really well enhanced with the brown sugar, really impressive
T- Lots of smooth maltiness with brown sugar and roasted barley, good vinous flavours, wonderfully well balanced, probably good boil time for caramelisation,
M- Full bodied, fairly carbonated for the style and helps the drinkability, the roundness in mouth is outstanding
D- The complexity of this beer is great, just a well crafted and complex beer, certainly my favorite beer of this brewer
Amen !
