Cloudy, neutral brown color. Rim bubbles produce some wider streaks on the glass.
No maple to the nose but there’s some sweetness. Otherwise, I pickup some mild toastiness to the darker malt.
The flavor is sweeter than the smell with the maple syrup flavors appearing. It’s also boozy. The malt is like toasted sweet brown bread. An interesting and appealing combination.
