Picked it up for a tasting. Poured from a can into a tulip glass.clear amber colorwith a decent head but light lacing. Pleasant sweet malty smell. Full flavored lager. Goes well with smoked sausage.

12 oz. can poured into pilsener
L: reddish brown/dark copper, crystal clear, pushes up small head barely a finger tall; foam is offwhite/beige; clarity and color are off the charts, and there's a ton of activity in the glass; no sticking or lacing and despite all the activity, it barely keeps a collar much less any skin; the bubbles rising in the glass are super tiny
S: caramel, toasted malt, sweet ... sugar-covered dates; as it warms gets even sweeter, cherry cheesecake ... or some kind of cranberry pastry, super sweet cranberries or cranberry sauce
T: toffee, toasted maple syrup, brown sugar, faint earthy hop bite to balance but it's faint ... sweetness is strong but not cloying and the flavors are tight and consistent with nothing coming off medicinally, no DSM or diacetyl; bread malt, dried apricots ... ok, maybe a slight bit of butter, but it mixes in with the other notes perfectly; so sweet at times you think they have to add sugar
F: surprisingly a tad soft, almost flat ... or ale slick ... hard to describe precisely, but it's not half as crisp as it looks
O: if the mouthfeel were a bit crisper, this would be about as good as it gets; with the softer mouthfeel, it's still incredible, a super tasty brew with an intense concentration of toasted malt flavors; hopefully this holds up well in cans because I'm buying all I can find for football season
