Tastes similar to a white claw, very little beer flavor. I’d describe it as a strawberry seltzer

 

This is a beer I was prepared to dislike. Not generally a fan of "flavored" beers. And maybe it was the beautiful, 70-degree evening at dusk -- but I liked this brew. Nothing surprising, nothing amazing -- but a solid, drinkable summer refresher.

Appearance – The beer pours a slightly hazy light pink color with a small fizzy white head. The head fades rather fast leaving a little bit of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.

Smell – The aroma of the brew is strongest of a cracker malt smell mixed with a little bit of a wheat smell and a decently strong aroma of strawberries. Along with these smells comes a little bit of a hay and grassy smell, giving a sorta strawberry field like smell.

Taste – The taste begins with a crisp cracker malt flavor that is backed by a unripe/young strawberry taste. The strawberry is just slightly sweet upfront, with the sweetness getting less and less as the taste moves forward, but with the strawberry essence remaining rather constant. All the while a bit of wheat and grain as well as a touch of hay develop on the tongue and in the end, leave one with a slightly dry and crisp unripe strawberry taste to linger on the tongue.

Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is rather light and thin with a carbonation level that is relatively high. For the mix of crisp and light fruit tastes the feel is fantastic and makes for one very refreshing feel overall.

Overall – A crisp, not overly sweet, but very drinkable and refreshing fruit beer. A nice brew for summer sipping!!

Almost rose gold in color with a white head. Smells faintly of fruit and grain. Pleasant strawberry-bread flavor. Light bodied, clean, refreshing. Very enjoyable.
