A: Pours a cloudy golden straw color. A small white head forms and leaves little lace.
S: Lots of sweet passion fruits. Bananas, orange, lemons. Some sweet candy like aromas. There is a bit of grapefruit from some hops. A good balance between the sweet candy malt aroma and the grapefruit.
T: Malty and fruity. Candy like malts again with some hop twang. Grapefruit. Some banana and orange that follow the nose. Wonderful.
M/D: A full body that is low on the carbonation end. Though just enough carbonation to give the beer some life. Very easy to drink. I could session this with no problem.
This is great. Southern Star is officially among the big three for breweries in Texas. IMO. Something that is easy to drink in the summer, but enough flavor to satisfy anytime.

had on draft at the Ginger Man.
this brew pours up a murky straw color with a decent white head. the nose consists of bitter pale malts, subtle hops, has that distinct Export Lager aroma. the taste is crisp hops, heavy on the pale malts, grains. it is medium to full bodied with low carbo. I can dig it....
