Brownish black with a thick tan head. Smells of malt, coffee, and sweet tobacco. Strong roast-y flavor but not charred, which is nice. Not as sweet as I generally prefer but also not too bitter. Medium bodied, very robust.

Dark, almost black, medium brown head.
Smells of coffee, burnt sugar, licorice.
Taste is brown sugar, burnt toast, black coffee.
The abv kicks in after about 6oz’s.
Very well made, very if there’s anything to knock, this perhaps it’s a little too sweet.
The mouthfeel is heavy and the lingering flavor is out of this world.
