It saddens me that I had to take multiple sips of this "beer" in order to write a review. It's truly vile.
Look (the best part of this beer): pours a medium-dark brown with a tan head, much thicker than expected for a stout.
Smell: more like a brown ale than anything
Feel: water-thin and incredibly over-carbonated. Idk if they were trying to compensate for how thin the beer is.
Taste: revolting. No, seriously. A foundation of sour, dirty water that someone ineffectually tried to cover with some super-sweet, flat cola. It honestly tastes spoiled. No Pecan, no chocolate, no coffee, not even any beer flavors.
Overall: this beer didn't just make me feel sad and disappointed that it exists, it somehow managed to make me feel sad and disappointed that I exist too.

I wish I had spent my money on a different brew. Extremely thin mouthfeel, not much flavor, no complexity. Like a cigar was left in a glass of water. Shame; I live in The Woodlands just south of the brewery and I really wanted to like this. For the price of a six pack, you’ll far more enjoy a 4 pack of Breakfast Stout. Swing and a miss.

Too thin for my liking.

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance- The beer pours a medium brown color with a one finger head of tan colored foam. The head fades rather fast leaving a tiny bit of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is heavy of a roasted malt mixed with aromas of coffee and chocolate. Mixed with these aromas comes notes of molasses and a big showing of toasted pecan. Overall, it is somewhat reminiscent of sugar-coated toasted pecans. Rather nice.
Taste – The taste begins with a sweet molasses and brown sugar taste that is mixed with some coffee and roasted malt. The roast is a bit light, and gets lighter as the taste moves on, with more brown sugar and molasses coming to the tongue. While light upfront, a pecan flavor develops as the taste moves forward. The taste never gets all that strong, and in the end, one is lift with a light roasty and nutty, but rather sweet taste to linger on the tongue. Almost like a pecan pie with only a light level of pecan.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is medium to light in thickness with a carbonation level that is moderate. A little thicker body may have been better for the style, but overall, the feel was pretty good for the sweet and light roast.
Overall – A rather decent and sweeter pecan brew. The low alcohol makes this one a great brew for a cool day, say when out tailgating for hanging for a long haul.
