12oz can with no date. Opened 12-24-21. Day #6 of the 12 Days of Krampus.
1/2" white head good retention at a solid cap. Hazy golden beer. Wispy lacing.
Herbal, woodsy, yeast, and a slight medicinal note in the nose. Fruit character = apricot.
Nice mix of the same in the flavors, the juniper provides a good bitterness mixed in with the sweet fruit and yeasty flavors.
Medium plus body with moderate carbonation. Sweet malt and fruit up front but ultimately dries out in the finish.
Very Good.

Poured from can into tulip, good 2+ cream colored head, so so retention good lacing. Bright turbid golden/orange in the glass no visible floaties. The nose has me perplexed, some slight hefe/Belgian esters, as it warms the funk dissipates and the esters are more predominant, banana, clove and juniper. Wow, how to describe this. Sweet malt on the front, some hefe phenols of the fruity nature, citrus from the middle to the end. Finish is on the spicy/dry side. Residual juniper on the palate.
Note: juniper is more predominate as it warms
