12oz can with no date. Opened 1-14-22.
Day 10 of the 12 Days of Krampus.
1 finger tan head that retains well as a solid cap. Black at the core with dark brown creeping edges. Light, wispy lacing. First whiff is big roasty char and dark chocolate --- some fruit (almost cherry) as it warms. Nutty flavor, some dark fruit, and chocolate. Almost full bodied with an appropriate carbonation level. Decent bitterness in a long, malty, roasty finish.

Poured from can into tulip, big 3 finger tan head, good retention and lacing. Jet black in the glass, no light passes thru. Big roasted malt on the nose with a whiff of coffee and chocolate. Taste follows the nose, big roasted malt on the front, some acridness, but not bad, caramel and coffee thru the middle and the finish has a good firm bitterness. Residual chocolate on the palate after the finish. Not hot, alcohol hidden well. Mouth feel is smooth.
