Light to medium brown colour with a quickly fading head that leaves barely any lacing at all. Smell of syrup, horse blanket and hops. The taste wasn't exactly what i expected of a bock (nor was the smell): lots of herb and spice flavours doing their thing in this beer, although the ingredients are just the classic four (quite an achievement i have to say). Apple syrup, liquorice, caramel, chives, mint, cinnamon, figs, roasted malts, laurel.....This beer tastes a lot like gruit beer actually, though no gruit has been used whatsoever. Alcohol taste is present as well, but mingles nicely with the other flavours. I disliked it at the first sips, but i have to admit it kind of grew on me (although still a bit too sweet). Not exactly what i call bock beer, but a rich and warming brew nonetheless. Skip this if you want a classic bock though. Not the best bock beers I've had during my personal "Zet's 2015 bock tasting", but certainly one of the more interesting.

A dark brown beer with a settling head.
The smell is not very pronounced, there is a light malty smell with some notes of currants and raisins.
The taste is malty with distinct Munich malt notes, a full-bodied beer that has notes of raisins and dark bread crust. The mouthfeel is a little too much, the beer is too full and the drinkability is lowered by this. When swallowed the beer leaves a layer inside the mouth, swallowing is kind of hard. The beer's balance is a bit off and I can't seem to put the finger on the sore spot.
