Shared 500 ml bottle, from Det Bette Ølhus, Aalbæk. ABV 7.0%. Orange to amber colour, white head. Lovely spicy and herbal aroma, also notes of oak. Herbal and oaky flavour, with a solid bitterness.

 

 

 

 

 

Clear amber pour, with a white head that gives way to a thin lacing. Smells of caramel, citrus hops, some tropical fruit (mostly mango and unripe pineapple) , a bit of pine resin and vinegar. Bitter and a bit sour taste, a kind of blend between an English IPA and a lambic without the funkiness. Dry and very bitter aftertaste. Very interesting beer.
