Copenhagen 31/10 2016. 50 cl bottle from Meny. Very flashy and colorful label with "Rebel" in Gothic letters across it.
Pours deep brown with a red hue and a thick off-white head several centimeters thick. Stable. Settles as a thin but unbroken layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing on the side of the glass.
Aroma is sweet with dark roasted malts, light chocolate, nuts and slightly metallic notes without being unpleasant.
Medium strong carbonation and a watery palate. Lively texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is lightly bitter and short.
Well balanced and decent Dunkel.

May 2010: 500 ml bottle, bought in Denmark. ABV is 4.7%. Mahogany coloured beer, huge and lasting beige head. Pleasant aroma of caramel and bakery. Malty flavour with notes of caramel, brown bread and slightly burnt toast. A moderate but noticeable bitterness in the aftertaste.

I bought a bottle of Rebel Černý in Glendale, California/USA for $2.69.
Look: Rebel Černý had light foam.
Smell: Rebel Černý had a slight aroma of molasses.
Taste: Rebel Černý tasted like brown bread and molasses.
Feel: Rebel Černý had good carbonation in the beginning but became nearly flat within minutes!
Overall: Rebel Černý tasted good but should be guzzled immediately soon as the cap is popped off! Beware! Rebel Černý goes flat fast!

Dark red color, tending to black. Light brown foam, compact.
At the smell caramel malt, not too much, with touches of coffee and cocoa-chocolat. More, a green note, stronger in the smell (green hop).
To balance, the smoothness of the chocolate. Pleasantly drinkable.
Light body, with a malt and caramel (a bit) and again a hint of green hop.
Pleasant.
