This beer arrives from the tap with a mostly clear, nice copper color. The pale colored head leaves some lacing on the sides of my glass. The aroma smells like a hopped up English Pale Ale; a nice herbal character, some light mintyness as well as some soft, fruity citrus character.
This tastes quite interesting; the herbal and minty notes are definitely here in the flavor. This does have a fair amount of fruit character to it, but it is more on the herbal side. Again, in the flavor, the description of this as a hoppy English styled pale ale is definitely apt. This is light and refreshing; definitely a beer meant for quaffing. I like that this has a nice herbal bitterness to it, but sometimes the beer reminds me of toothpaste somehow.
