A pint on tap at earth thanks to sue, the pretty lady behind the bar.
A- comes to me with a good finger of off white head that holds for a bit before settling after the first sip to leave a huge spray of sticky lace all over the glass and a sudsy ring on top. Dark copper orange in color with a nice glow to it.
S- nice spicy floral hop and sweet bready malts. Hints of bubble gum and candy.
T- opens up with an earthy hop that rolls smoothly into a sweet bready caramel malts.
M- on the mediumish side of body and a simple mid level carb that hits just right.
O- Im totally digging this one. One of the bipas that truly walk the line between belgian and ipa.

I enjoyed this multiple times at Pa Flavor
A golden deep amber bordering on copper w/ a thick rocky custard colored cap w/ tiny bead and lots of lace that clings. A strongly scented ale with lots herbal hop aromas and slight peppery odor. There is a mild fruit ester in the background which hints at banana. the feel is good with moderate acidity and highly carbonated with subtle bitterness and light sweetness from the malt. The feel is semi-dry overall with toasted tinges and slightly spicy and dry in the back.
The taste has a good level of bitterness from the hops with a gentle flavor of yeastwhich contributes slightly fruity elements. There is a bit of bright noble hop accents which transitions to slightly funky hop with spice in the finish. I found this to be a pretty decent belgian IPA but could use a little toning of the more spicy noble hops chosen. I would not pass on this if I had the opportunity to enjoy this again.

A Belgian-style hybrid of a golden ale and an IPA, fermented La Chouffe yeast.
A-Bright golden kissed light copper with a thin off white head that quickly dissipates to a thin ring of retention leaving little lace.
S-Spicy hop character from the Columbus, Cascade and Saphir hop additions. A mild zing of citrus rind is backed by a touch of bready malt and fruity esters from the yeast.
T-Sharp, spicy, citrus rind hop bite up front followed by jaunty La Chouffe yeast fruitiness and a nice backing of lightly toasted biscuit malt.
M-Medium body quite sharp and crisp with a good lingering hop bite and fruity yeast esters.
D-Solid for the first time around. Tweak the hop bill a touch, more fruit, less spice and this one would be a winner in my book.
