not a bad beer here but its a little sloppy, maybe too wheaty and not fruity enough, unrefined to a flaw, milky pink on the pour with a short lived airy white head in the pint glass. a sweet jammy raspberry in the nose, a yeast that should be less flavorful and more cleaned up, and a lot of white wheat malt that gives the beer a real rawness. the flaor has the fruit on the front, sweet but authentic, it fades by the middle, and by the end its this almost hefe type yeast with some fruity notes of its own and the thick wheat. the proportions are off here, and its a little amateurish, mainly because of this yeast in here, which just isnt right i dont think for an american wheat type base beer, if that is what they were targeting. the fruit is good in here, maybe a little syrupy and contributing to an overall thicker and bigger body to this, but i really do not dislike the flavor, just think the beer could use a little more attention to detail and a little more cleaning up. i had no problem with a pint though, just not the best beer available in here, not at all.
