Very tasty Belgian. Most Belgian's have an aftertaste that doesn't suit me, but this one had a light & clean aftertaste. Obtained in a beer trade from my friend, MJ, who was originally from Berwick. Enjoyed this 32 ounce crowler. This was my 500th rated beer....yay!

- Served from a growler within 12 hrs after pour.

A: A thin, chalky white head covers a translucent lemon peel body. There is a slow and methodical rise of mid range carbonation bubbles within while the head retention was short lived leaving a patchy covering atop. No visible lace stickage on the chalice.

A: Aroma of pineapple slices and fresh wet tangerine tartness. A healthy dose of spicy golden hops with a trail of banana yeastiness that followed of moderate proportion. Overall aroma was clean and spicy.

T: Banana yeastiness and oranges are the first strong impression. Wet bread, tartness of lemon peel and tangerine are also evident. The flavor is very clean as was the nose, crisp smooth and polished showing a very good brewing process highlighted by a bright spiciness of belgian hops. A gentle dryness of orange peel, belgian grains and flowery hops can also be had. There is a nice lingering effect of the spicy hop bite after the swallow with some banana yeastiness that follows.

M: Light mouthful, light carbonation presence, with a spicy warmth of hops on the inner cheeks. The texture is slippery and oily.

O: Overall a very well brewed beer with a polished, clean serving that will no doubt entice another making this an effortless drink to consume. There is a distinct lightly dry belgian graininess and and soft, but appreciable yeastiness that comes into play that they definitly nailed here. Cleany brewed, very enjoyable.
